What is a health and wellbeing program?

A health and wellbeing program is a policy of initiatives and activities aimed at nurturing employees physical, mental and emotional health. These programs often include health checks, health insurance, physical and mental fitness activities and workshops, team building activities and employee assistance programs (EAPs).

What services does Vital Flow Health offer?

We have three health check packages as well as offering the opportunity to create a bespoke package to fulfil your company’s healthcare requirements. We can also provide an anonymous data overview enabling you to identify trends and pinch points within your organisation which can inform your health and wellbeing strategy. How do your in-office health checks work?

Once your health check requirement is established, you can book the time for our healthcare professional to visit your offices. Communication will be sent to your employees with a link to book a time slot on the allocated date. We will send your employees a wellness questionnaire in advance of their appointment and take care of all the communication. The report with results will be available for your employees via an email link.

Is my company and employees information confidential and secure?

Vital Flow Health follows strict confidentiality protocols and complies with the strict UK privacy laws. All information shared is secure and confidential and our healthcare professionals take your health and your personal information very seriously, no information or data is shared unless under the consent of the individual. Can Vital Flow Health create a specific medical check package to suit my company?

Yes, please get in touch and tell us about your requirements and we will put together a special package for you.

What space do you need to carry out the on-site health checks?

We only need a small, private room for the health assessments

How long does each appt take?

On average an appointment takes 15 minutes.

How are results delivered to Employee Participants?

Each employee will be informed by email that their results are ready to view via a link

How does an Employee Participant book and pay for additional tests?

How are appointments scheduled with our employees?

We will set up a link for you to make available to your employees to register with Vital Flow Health. Once registration is complete a booking link will be emailed to your employee for their health assessment within the day/s you have booked. We will also send them a Wellness Questionnaire for them to answer and return before their appointment

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation charge will be equal to the full cost of your scheduled appointments and will also be made to any appointments which are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

How are the health check results and reports accessed?

Each employee will receive a notification when their health check report is available to view and download via a secure link. If any medical concerns arise from a health check, one of our healthcare professionals will contact the employee directly to discuss the results and signpost or refer them to their GP or a specialist.

Why are annual preventive health checks so important and what makes Vital Flow Health assessments different?

Annual health checks have numerous short and long term benefits. They can identify health problems early and assess health risks; this allows individuals to make any recommended lifestyle adjustments to avoid future illness and can reduce severity of existing silent illnesses. Our health checks provide individuals with a benchmark of their health which is invaluable not only annually at recording changes but also later in life. As our health checks are available in the workplace, it enables your hard-working employees who prioritise their work over themselves to participate with minimal time and disruption. Our preventive health checks are carried out by trained healthcare professionals and give your employees expert, dedicated time to discuss any health concerns. Our health assessments can reduce employee illness and absenteeism as well as improving wellbeing and productivity.

Do you offer special discounts for large numbers of in office employee health checks?

We are very happy to discuss your company needs and can offer packages and discounts depending on your corporate requirements. Please contact us to discuss this further.

What does the health assessment check include?

Each health assessment includes a comprehensive blood test to check key markers such as cholesterol levels, liver and kidney function, blood sugar, thyroid hormones, vitamin levels, and more. In addition, you will have your BMI calculated, height & weight measured, Blood Pressure and a short ECG reading. This will provide an overview of your overall health and can help identify potential concerns early. Enhanced & Absolute Health Checks will require a urine sample.


Do I need to fast before the blood draw?

You do not need to fast for any of the Health Assessment Packages. If you have requested additional blood tests that require fasting, you will be informed in your appointment confirmation and would be required to fast for 8-12 hours before the draw.  


How long does the process take, and is it painful?

The blood draw itself usually takes about 5 minutes. You may feel a slight pinch when the needle is inserted, but most people find it only mildly uncomfortable. The entire appointment typically takes 15–20 minutes.


When and how will I receive my results?

Results are typically available within 3–5 working days. We’ll send them to you via email with a link to our secure patient portal. If any results require further explanation or follow-up, a clinician will contact you to discuss the findings.


What should I do if my results are abnormal?

If any results are outside the normal range, our clinical team will explain the implications and recommend seeking further testing with your GP.
